Entry-Level Application Developer / Implementor

Location: East Moline, IL (On-site, remote option not available)
Status: Full-Time
Level: Entry-Level (Recent Graduate or 1–2 Years Experience)

About the Role

We’re looking for an Entry-Level Application Developer / Implementor to join our engineering team at EBE Technologies.

This role is hands-on development inside real enterprise software used by transportation companies across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll work directly in existing production systems supporting, modifying, and improving applications that process real operational and financial workflows.

This is not a “learn programming from scratch” role. You should already be comfortable working in core Microsoft development tools and writing/reading production code.

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and Microsoft technologies 
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 
• Ability to understand, read, and modify existing source code (not just build from scratch) 

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and enhance existing C# / ASP.NET applications 
• Work with SQL server to support application data and functionality 
• Analyze existing source code and implement approved modifications 
• Collaborate with senior developers and implementation teams 
• Support debugging, testing, and release cycles 
• Help improve performance, stability, and usability of production systems 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming 
• Comfortable working inside existing (non-greenfield) codebases 
• Problem-solver who can figure things out with direction and documentation 
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn enterprise systems 
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills 
• Entry-level developer or recent graduate 

Work Environment

• On-site in East Moline, IL (no remote option available)
• Fast-paced engineering and implementation environment 
• Exposure to full software lifecycle (build, test, deploy, support) 
• Occasional overtime during releases or implementations
