Role Description
EBE Technologies is seeking an experienced Director of Implementation Services to lead a team of project managers and implementers responsible for delivering AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to transportation and logistics companies.
In this role, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of client implementation projects, manage team performance, and ensure projects meet established timelines, budgets, and requirements. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams across sales, development, and support to coordinate project execution, manage expectations, and deliver successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and project management skills with technical knowledge, business acumen, and a commitment to improving the client experience. This is an on-site position at EBE Technologies in East Moline, Illinois; remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of implementation and professional services projects, ensuring projects meet requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers and implementers, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development
- Establish project priorities, allocate resources, and balance team workloads to support successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, manage scope changes, and address issues that could affect timelines, budgets, or client satisfaction
- Serve as an escalation point for client concerns and implementation challenges, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by setting expectations, communicating progress, and ensuring project objectives are met
- Coordinate with sales, development, support, and other internal teams to align client requirements with implementation plans and technical capabilities
- Develop and maintain project management processes, standards, and reporting to improve consistency, efficiency, and accountability
- Monitor project performance, service metrics, and client feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage project budgets, resource utilization, and other financial considerations related to professional services delivery
- Contribute to forecasting, invoicing, and resource planning as needed
- Collaborate with leadership to develop service strategies, improve implementation practices, and support new service offerings
- Ensure implementation teams understand product capabilities, client requirements, and established delivery standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing project delivery, professional services, software implementations, or a related function
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing project managers, implementation specialists, or technical service teams
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and scope control
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Excellent client relationship management skills, including the ability to navigate escalations and manage expectations
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and project requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of software implementation processes, system integrations, and enterprise software environments
- Familiarity with AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation, or related technologies is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use performance metrics and customer feedback to guide decisions
- Experience developing processes, improving service delivery, and establishing operational standards
- Business acumen, including an understanding of project financials, resource utilization, and service delivery costs
- Excellent organizational, communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
- Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
