Application Developer + Implementor

Location: East Moline, IL (On-site, remote option not available)
Status: Full-Time

Role Description

EBE Technologies develops SaaS-based financial automation, driver lifecycle, and AI solutions for the transportation industry.

This role is for an Entry-Level Application Developer / Implementor supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of EBE software applications. You will work with existing applications and source code, make application modifications, and support the implementation of solutions for EBE clients.

The ideal candidate has a foundation in Microsoft development technologies, SQL Server, and software development concepts, along with the ability to understand existing code and make accurate modifications.

Responsibilities

• Work with existing EBE application source code and make required modifications
• Develop and modify applications using Microsoft development technologies
• Support application implementation and configuration for client environments
• Write, modify, and troubleshoot SQL queries and database-related functionality
• Work with C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Identify and troubleshoot application issues
• Test application changes to ensure functionality and accuracy
• Collaborate with development and implementation teams on application requirements
• Document application changes and implementation activities
• Learn and apply EBE development standards, processes, and technologies
• Support ongoing improvements to EBE's SaaS and AI-enabled applications

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field
• Recent graduate or 1–2 years of relevant application development experience
• Knowledge of C#
• Knowledge of ASP.NET
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Ability to understand and modify existing source code
• Basic understanding of application development and database concepts
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to learn new technologies and application environments

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing or modifying business applications
• Experience working with SQL databases and writing SQL queries
• Familiarity with .NET development environments
• Experience with software implementation, configuration, or technical support
• Exposure to SaaS-based applications
• Understanding of web-based application development
