Role Description
EBE Technologies is seeking a client-focused Project Manager to lead the implementation of our transportation-specific workflow and automation solutions. This role is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience throughout the implementation lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through testing and go-live. Successful candidates will work closely with clients to understand operational workflows, define future-state processes, and ensure implementations align with EBE’s proven methodologies and best practices.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to protecting and strengthening the EBE brand through exceptional client engagement and project execution.
Objectives of this role
- Lead client implementations using EBE’s Agile implementation methodology to ensure successful and timely deployments
- Develop a strong understanding of EBE’s suite of software solutions and their application within client environments
- Facilitate discovery sessions to document current-state operations and define future-state workflows
- Serve as the primary point of communication between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the implementation process
- Ensure projects remain aligned with defined requirements, timelines, and customer expectations
- Support long-term customer success by delivering organized, efficient, and professional implementations
Responsibilities
- Manage software implementation projects from discovery through go-live
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, deliverables, and client communications
- Document operational requirements and future-state workflows using EBE applications
- Communicate project scope and implementation details to internal stakeholders and technical teams
- Monitor project progress and proactively address timeline changes, risks, or client requests
- Provide oversight and coordination for technical resources assigned to implementation projects
- Manage customer expectations during implementation, testing, training, and deployment phases
- Escalate changes or variances from original project definitions when necessary
- Represent EBE professionally and maintain a client-centric approach throughout all engagements
Required skills and qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in project management preferred
- Background in IT systems or software implementations preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile project methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional listening, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with customer relationship management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to commute to East Moline, IL five days per week
Working Conditions
Some travel may be required (up to 20%)
