Business Development Representative

Location: East Moline, IL (On-site, REMOTE OPTIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT EBE)
Status: Full-Time -OR- Part-Time

Role Description

EBE Technologies is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive growth by identifying and engaging prospective customers within the transportation and logistics industry.

In this role, you'll work closely with our marketing and sales teams to generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, customer outreach, webinar promotion, trade show follow-up, and account-based engagement. If you enjoy building relationships, starting conversations, and opening doors with prospective clients, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect targeted accounts and identify new business opportunities
  • Engage prospective customers through phone calls, email campaigns, webinars, and trade show follow-up
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and existing customers
  • Track outreach activities and opportunities within Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead-generation campaigns and initiatives
  • Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales cycle
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B business development, inside sales, or sales prospecting experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging prospects by phone
  • Experience with lead generation, prospecting, and follow-up activities
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Customer Success or Customer Support experience is a plus
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve and exceed goals

Working Conditions

Some travel may be required (up to 20%)
