Role Description
EBE Technologies is seeking a client-focused Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of EBE’s transportation-specific workflow and automation solutions. This role is responsible for creating a positive customer experience throughout the implementation lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements definition through testing, deployment, and go-live.
The Project Manager serves as the primary connection between EBE’s clients, internal teams, and technical resources. Successful candidates will work closely with customers to understand their operational processes, identify business needs, define future-state workflows, and guide implementations using EBE’s proven methodology.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position requires strong communication skills, project leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences while protecting and strengthening the EBE brand.
Objectives of this role
- Lead client implementations using EBE’s Agile implementation methodology to ensure accurate, organized, and timely deployments
- Develop a strong understanding of EBE’s suite of solutions and how they support customer operations
- Facilitate discovery sessions to document current-state processes and define future-state workflows
- Create clear project requirements and implementation roadmaps to support successful deployments
- Serve as the primary point of communication between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Ensure implementations remain aligned with defined requirements, timelines, and customer expectations
- Support long-term customer success through professional project execution and relationship management
Responsibilities
- Manage software implementation projects from discovery through testing and go-live
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, resources, and client communications
- Conduct discovery activities to understand customer operations and document business requirements
- Define future-state workflows using EBE’s applications and solutions
- Communicate project scope, requirements, and expectations to internal stakeholders and technical teams
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, timeline changes, and client requests
- Maintain project documentation, including requirements, changes, decisions, and implementation milestones
- Provide oversight and coordination of technical resources assigned to implementation projects
- Manage customer expectations throughout discovery, implementation, testing, training, and deployment phases
- Escalate requests, changes, or variances from the original project definition when appropriate
- Represent EBE professionally and maintain a customer-first approach throughout all client engagements
Required skills and qualifications
- Three or more years of successful project management experience preferred
- Experience with software implementations or IT systems preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile project methodologies and implementation practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional listening, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges
- Experience managing customer relationships and expectations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to commute to East Moline, IL five days per week
Working Conditions
- Some travel may be required (up to 20%)
- Fast-paced, high-energy work environment
- Overtime may be required based on project timelines
- Office-based environment with daily computer and software usage
